I did not receive an activation email

Preliminary checks before contacting us

It is common for the activation email sent by freemeet not to appear immediately in your primary inbox. Before doing anything else, we invite you to check a few simple points that resolve the situation in the majority of cases.

First, always check your junk mail (spam) folder. Sometimes, your email provider's security filters mistakenly flag our email as a promotional message. Also, remember to check the "Promotions" or "Social" tabs if you are using Gmail. If you still cannot find anything, ensure that your inbox is not full, which would prevent the receipt of new messages.

Typing error during registration

One of the most common causes for not receiving an email is a simple typo in the email address provided when creating your freemeet account. A missing letter or an incorrect extension (such as .con instead of .com) is enough to block the delivery of the activation message.

If you suspect a typing error, you have two options:

  • You can try to register again using the correct email address and a new username.
  • You can contact our technical support team by providing your desired username and the email address you attempted to use. We will then be able to locate your account, correct the address for you, and manually resend the activation link.

Technical support and service operation

If you are certain that your email address is correct and you have waited at least 30 minutes without receiving our message, it is possible that a temporary technical error occurred during communication between our servers and your email provider.

In this specific case, do not hesitate to reach out to our team via the help center contact form. We will carefully analyze your case to quickly unlock your access.

We remain at your full disposal to help you join our community under the best conditions and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay.
